Integrative counselling with is a way that adapts to each individual, recognising that everyone’s experiences, needs, and pace are different. Sessions provide a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood. Counselling can help in developing greater awareness of thoughts, feelings, and experiences, while also exploring patterns, roles and beliefs formed earlier in life that may continue to influence relationships or sense of self. In sessions with Ashley, creative approaches such as art, projection cards or sandtray can also be used to explore emotions and experiences in alternative ways. Our therapeutic work is collaborative and paced to support self-awareness, understanding, and meaningful change.

Life brings challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low in confidence or disconnected from ourselves. Integrative counselling provides a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences with the support of a trained therapist.
Rather than following a single therapeutic model, an integrative approach draws on a range of evidence-based methods, allowing each session to be tailored to your individual needs. Together, you can explore difficult emotions, understand unhelpful patterns, build resilience and develop healthier ways of coping.
People seek counselling for many reasons, including:
The aim is not simply to manage symptoms, but to support lasting emotional wellbeing and help you move towards a more fulfilling life.
Brainspotting is a gentle, trauma-informed therapy that helps access and process experiences stored deep within the brain and nervous system.
Sometimes difficult experiences become "stuck," leaving us feeling anxious, emotionally reactive or overwhelmed, even when we understand intellectually why we feel the way we do. Brainspotting works by identifying specific eye positions that connect with these unresolved experiences, allowing the brain to process them naturally at its own pace.
Many people find Brainspotting helpful for:
Unlike therapies that rely solely on talking, Brainspotting allows healing to occur beyond conscious thinking, making it particularly valuable for experiences that are difficult to put into words.
Sessions take place in a safe, supportive environment, with the process guided carefully according to each client's comfort and readiness.

Tim was so professional and kind. He had a very encouraging and non-judgemental way of listening and discussing with me. He is very warm and easy to talk to. He made me feel genuinely heard and respected.
Tim has a laidback and personable approach which made me feel really at ease and comfortable with sharing my thoughts, but was also totally professional throughout our sessions which made me feel like I could trust him and he knew how to help.
Tim is a very understanding and helpful person. He always listens fully to what I have to say and will always offer his own opinion and advice
